Clinical hypnosis, breathwork, sound, and yoga nidra are offered at The Good Muck for educational and self-development purposes only. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition.

These practices are designed to complement care from your doctor or therapist, not replace it.

Psychiatric & Psychotic Conditions

Clinical Hypnosis, somatic and subconscious work can be destabilizing for individuals with certain severe psychiatric conditions. If you have a current diagnosis of a psychotic disorder, including schizophrenia, or are experiencing active psychosis, this work is not recommended at this time. Please seek support from a licensed clinical professional.

CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK

Contraindications

Due to the physical and energetic intensity of this practice, certain medical conditions require physician clearance before participating in any breathwork session at The Good Muck. Please consult your doctor before booking if you have any of the following:

— Severe cardiovascular disease

— A history of stroke or aneurysm

— Uncontrolled high or very low blood pressure

— Severe asthma

— Epilepsy

— Detached retina or glaucoma

— Recovery from recent major surgery or serious injury, particularly in the abdomen or chest

— Kidney disease

— Osteoporosis with high fracture risk

If any of the above apply, obtain clearance from your physician before booking a breathwork class or session. All participants should stop if experiencing pain, distress, or severe discomfort.
